Noise reduction solutions

LEGAL PROVISIONS

Royal Decree 1367/2007 implementing Noise Law 37/2003 lays down the acoustic quality targets in decibels (dB) for hospital facilities.

The average noise in hospitals is 50-70 dB.

In intensive care units it can even exceed 100-110 dB(A), and the machinery used in neonatal units pushes it up even further to 120 dB(A).
