Karmele has a consular diploma in business administration and management, specialising in marketing, and she is also a senior business and tourism officer.
It was Leire who established the teams and collaborative networks that were needed to breathe life into the company and create the Noisense solutions.
She secured both the economic and human resources to launch the initiative, devising corporate strategies on the basis of technical and technological innovation to reduce noise. She holds a degree in political sciences and sociology, and a master in international cooperation and assessment of public policy.
She is also an ESADE business school management postgraduate, and a specialist in intercultural education and resolution of conflicts.
She works as a researcher with the Bilbao School of Engineering’s Aholab research group’s signals team.
She began her research activities in town planning, specialising in the control of atmospheric pollution (noise), and eventually moved on to artificial intelligence focusing on noise control.
She is a telematics engineer and a postgraduate in architectural acoustics and environmental acoustics, and also has a master in computational engineering and smart systems.
